Located in Portland, Oregon,  I specialize in natural light children's and family photography.  While most sessions take place outside on location or in your home, occasionally sessions occur in studio.  

 

I am in love with finding the best natural light and prefer to shoot using it whenever possible.  I am also passionate about personality - it should be encouraged, celebrated and remembered.  I strive to capture the genuine moments of children and families at different stages in their lives.  While I do make sure to do some posed pictures and set the stage in hopes of capturing the ever elusive 'all eyes looking towards the camera' and smiles, I find the true gems really shine once everyone lets their guard down.  Capturing those moments of kids just being kids is why I love being a photographer.  

 

When the camera is not glued to my face, I am an attorney and mother to twin toddlers.  I have a weakness for anything twin!  There is a magical bond between twins that I love witnessing, and I try to capture that bond every moment possible.  While most people tell me I have my hands full when they see me toting them around, I can't help but think to myself -
